4In the Audiophile class
By Tony F. Bei
In my Opinion this product is Pretty Good, excellent dollar to value!! the sound quality is superb!!,alot better then my stock radio and past audio decks!! It charges my Blackberry using the USB and has Bluetooth that has been working for the last three months, , you have to pair the phone to the radio, for making phone calls and playing music stored on the phone, has a built in mic in the front of the unitbest setting for me is the EQ set at User setting, bass boost on level 3 on and loudness level set at 2 settings bass at 8 and mid at 4 and treble at 7The Fm tuner could pull in distant stations better but I consider it fair to good, picks the local stations up strong caution like so many receivers of this type it shows a lot of glare on bright days on the front screen due too its curve design its hard to see the text

2Not so Awesome Unit - KDC-BT652U
By Lawrence McClain
Okay, first I am going to say that this is the best Kenwood in-dash single-din unit I have ever purchased. I have been a loyal Kenwood owner for over 20 years. This unit operates flawlessly so far. The primary reason I wanted it was for the RDMS feature and BT audio streaming. This 2012 model is the first time Kenwood has integrated the AD2P function into the head unit (about time). I had a KDC-MP438U with both a KCA-BT100 and KCA-BT300 blueooth module and the bluetooth function was horrible. Half the time call audio would not connect and on the BT300, even the audio streaming would not connect with my Samsung Galaxy S phone. With the KDC-BT652U, it works perfectly every time (pairing with phone was simple). Super easy to install since I already had a Kenwood unit that I was replacing, took 5 minutes. As with all Kenwood units, navigating the various option settings can be challenging with the volume button selector, however better than past models I have owned. The price was also nice. This is the less expensive unit I have purchased and the best, go figure.I debated on getting the HD Radio version, but figure it would be a feature I rarely used and it saved me about $80 going with the KDC-BT652U instead. Great unit.Update: Do not buy this unit if you plan on using it in hands free mode. The built-in microphone is too sensitive and pickups ever little noise in the vehicle. Callers hear banging and clunking noises. If your not using the hands free function, it is a great unit. Kenwood will not admit to any issues with that unit.Update 2: I returned the unit to the seller and they gave me a full credit for the return. I have to say the 3 Kings Audio is a great seller. No fault of there own for the issues with the Kenwood unit.
