5Bluefusion is the best aftermarket add on ever for GM
By amazonjunkie64
I have now purchased 3 of these adapters....After searching for a bluetooth solution for all of my GM vehicles I came accross this product in a GM forum and I have to say it is hands down the best aftermarket buy I've seen for bluetooth. Currently I have one installed in a 2008 Sierra without Nav, 2007 GMC Yukon XL with Nav, and a 2007 Cadillac Escalade with Nav. All of these never offered bluetooth from the factory, only Onstar and I really wanted handsfree operation with a "factory" feel and this product gives it. Installation is litterally a 5 minute plug and play, the video on their website shows you how to do it in 5 minutes. I've paired my iPhone, Blackberry Bold, Bold 2, and Curve and all work great and the A2DP streaming audio is terrific. There are adjustments in the system menu that allow for volume adjustments of phone calls and streaming audio so that once you switch back to a normal source you don't blow out your ears. The only issue I've seen is the AVRCP with the iPhone, in the Sierra when I press the play/pause button on the sterring wheel controls it only mutes the music which is the factory preset function, it won't pause the iPhone. Overall great product.

5Uses your factory controls...no gadgets
By Stimuluscontrol
I was looking for a solution for my 2008 Suburban LTZ, that did not come with factory bluetooth. I wanted to use my factory nav radio and controls. Looked at Parrot but didn't like the extra gadgets on the visor and steering wheel. Saw this Bluefusion on clearance at Best Buy for $63 bucks and thought I'd give it a try. What a deal!Installation and pairing with my iPhone 4 took about 15 minutes. The wiring t-harness plugs into the XM tuner located behind the glove box. The other end plugs into the adapter. The mic is run from the inside of the windshield near the mirror, behind the headliner and down the pillar to the access panel right of the glovebox, then into the t-harness. Secure the adapter to the XM tuner with double-sided tape (not included), replace the access panel, close the glove box and start the engine. There is a video on Scosche's website that walks you through the installation. Be sure to read the pairing instructions that come with the kit as there is some important information not mentioned in the video, that is needed to pair correctly. It's very simple though.Calls can be placed via voice dial, manual dial using iphone, or using on-screen menu. It doesn'timport my phonebook however, so calls only show by number not name. This doesn't matter to me as I really wanted a clean solution using factory controls - and I didn't want to spend a lot of money. As a bonus, bluefusion streams music from my iphone's ipod library and from Pandora. Sound is decent, not as good as a direct cable, but the convenience is the key. If you receive a call while streaming music or listening to radio, xm, etc., the music fades and you can pick up the call. The only thing that would make this better is if the phonebook would import to the display. Not a big deal as the phone is usually nearby anyway. I'm not sure I would pay $250 for it, but if you can find any left on clearance at Best Buy, get one now!

1Stopped working after a year
By Brian Maloney
Total waste of money. The thing worked great, but after about a year, it just stopped working. I called Scosche and they told me to effectively pound sand. Its probably a $3 circuit board that they charged $300 for, which I was happy to pay. But having the thing crap out on me and get the kind of response i received from Scosche two things came to mind. One, I wasted $300 bucks on an unreliable product, and two, I would never purchase a Scoshe product again...they don't support them or the customer.
