purchased this radio for a 2000 suburban and i have to say, i really like it. Its radio itself is pretty easy to use. It has large icons, navigating through menus is easy and setting radio presets is a breeze. I have not played dvds in it yet(not really a function i was planning on using much). The face plate attaches and detaches very easily and comes with a protective pouch. installation was the same as any radio, everything is labeled. The bluetooth works great, i paired my phone and was making phone calls in no time. The phone function sounds great and people on the other end said they had no problem hearing me, plus you can stream music through bluetooth which is a cool function. This radio has an aux port which works with no problems at all. Now the only bad side is that there is some screen lag which i kind of expected when changing through menus. To raise and lower the volume is all done through touch screen, which im not too crazy about. If you want to connect and ipod though USB you need the additional cable they sell. i tried the regular ipod cable and it will not work. oh yeah, i did hook up a back up camera and it worked great with no issues.

I thought this unit was a good unit; however, upon opening and doing a bench test the ipod cable that i ordered to go with it does not work i ordered the IC3 cable. Upon reviewing the screen it also is a bad screen i have dots all over the screen like dust so whenthe lcd screen heats up the images are burned in the screen like pixy dust. the was rigth out of the box. Also the UI is laggy.The bluetooth is ok but it does not display a clock in the screen and you can not flip to the main menu and leave it there. you can only take pictures from a SD card or a USB to save. it will not take pictures from your phone atleast my phone. i have a Galaxy S3. the sound quility is Awsome but this unit does have its flaws.my main issue is the screen with the spots all over it from dust. and teh bluetooth with no time and the laggyness of the touch screen.Oh and the volume sucks having to tought the speaker all the time to get the volume to go up and down.if the screen was better without the spots i would have given a better star but this is not that great for 200.00.

Only had it for a few days but it does everything I expected it too do! If it breaks anytime in the future I'll edit when it does but as of now and the near future I don't see why it won't keep on going. Most of the time things break because they have Uneducated installers do the install and that why people write bad reviews. For the money its worth it!!!Update: July 23rd 2012 Face Plate stopped working. So a little shy of 3 Months and it decides to quit on me. Loose connection or faulty connection where face plate connects. I can push up on it and the face turns back on. I don't remember the the return length hope it was 90 days.Update: August 3rd 2012 Face was faulty on mine i had to take it apart since warranty was up and all i did was got some nice tape for electronics and taped touch screen part to the LCD screen part then taped over the bottom wire that connects to the board it seems to have a fault in the surrounding case design and was rubbing on that wire, so I cut a old Kroger card up to support it from rubbing and now it works just like it did before.So if anyone else has any problems and warranty up and if you push up on the face unit and your screen comes back on or you can squeeze the bottom of the face where it says Power Acoustik and it comes back on then I can tell you how to fix it.Its 10 times more sturdy too with a thin plastic card supporting the case at the bottom.Update: I bought the navibox-2 works great but my face plate has finally died that wire that was loose has now broke off because touch screen wasn't responding anymore. If I can't buy a new face plate I am going to have to buy another one. Just because I spent money on the navibox=2 and don't want to feel I wasted the money I would avoid this model until they fix the face plate I've heard from other they had the same problems, but just too late.I'm hoping the new face will not fail me or a whole new unit. I will update if it was just my bad luck of getting a faulty unit.
